I'm also honoured to be presenting on Friday my most recent research on indiv diffs in imagery and episodic construction. I'll discuss subjective + objective data which suggest a reduced capacity to remember the past and imagine the future in

Going to and curious about indiv diffs in visual imagery ability and ? Come to Visual System 1 at 1:45pm on Friday and see *Emerging Researcher Award winner* demonstrate how imagery can be measured using imaginary pupillary responses!

Putting the "episodic" in episodic memory - Camille Gasser and use some clever pupillometry and behavioural exps to ask a fascinating question - how do we parse life's continuous flow of perceptual experiences into discrete, bounded event memories?

Our new review on the overlap between imagery and perception is now out in Trends in Cognitive Sciences! The literature suggests that top-down mechanisms underlying perception and imagery are highly similar, in line with predictive processing theories.

I'm privileged and excited to be presenting work from myself and team at this coming Sat morning. I'll be outlining how individual differences in visual imagery affect mental phenomenology, and painting a cognitive fingerprint of the "blind mind"

Katie Bouman developed the algorithm (CHIRP: continuous high resolution image reconstruction using patch priors) which allowed noisy data from observatories around the world to be stitched together to form this: the first ever image of a black hole. She has shown us the universe.
