Home-owning baby boomers are not the problem.
They declare their intention to take permanent control of the ‘7 mountains’ - family, religion, education, media, entertainment, business and government

Huh. I didn’t realise extended leave was unusual. Or where it came from.

This is the definitive election result analysis by Richard Flanagan.
If you cast female people - or a subset thereof - as the oppressor class, you can make all the demands that male people have made throughout history (space, language, sex, reproductive labour, emotional caretaking) *and* cast it as correcting an injustice

Apart from the politics & the return to basic integrity, the other great result of this election is the massive increase in competence and intellect in the incoming Cabinet. Rebuilding the status and independence of the higher, merit-based civil service can only reinforce that.

Well done, Western Australia. #AusVotes22

Seeing a lot of goths about again, which is bad news.
Goths are the harbinger of recession whether its the 2008 recession, the 1980s recession or 5th century Rome and the collapse of the empire.
They may not be the cause but they are the warning we should heed
