How real is this? Mockup or limited release?

-
Fully real, but in limited testing
-
could you elaborate on what ‘limited testing’ means please for a laycoder?
-
Limited by who
@juscamarena invited to try it
You would need a mainnet wallet and the current wallets have no stable release for mainnet.. -
where can I find the unstable source?
-
There are a few Lightning Protocol RC1 compatible implementations depending on what language you are familiar with: https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/ … https://github.com/ElementsProject/lightning … https://github.com/ACINQ/eclair you should start with testnet though

You wouldn't have a wallet on bitrefill, you'd potentially have a channel open directly to bitrefill. If you have channel capacity in the direction of bitrefill and they allow routing, you can pay anyone that they can pay, but you would have to pay bitrefill a routing fee.

Multi hop routing is already a feature, it just wasn’t used in this case. In the Lightning protocol bitrefill wouldn’t have even been able to know it was a direct one hop payment because all payments use routing.

This is the greatest tweet I have seen for the past week. Is there any indication to when this protocol will be implemented?
-
There are a few implementations: LND https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/ … is used here, as well as Blockstream's c-lightning and Acinq's Eclair

Hey
@alexbosworth. Great job! one question: did you use https://github.com/roasbeef/btcd or https://github.com/btcsuite/btcd behind lnd? Thanks! -
