Sorry for the confusion. When a video is deleted, you'll not have an option to file a retraction. Note that deleting a video doesn't resolve a copyright strike. Hope this clarifies.

Yes you're right. Deleting a video will not resolve the strike. In this case, you'll have to wait for 90 days(i.e., 3 months) for the strike to expire. Hope this clarifies.

We have to wait 3 months because I deleted the video... even though the copyright owner is now agreeing to rescind the strike? That process is flawed.
