"Access to sex" isn't a coherent concept, particularly when analogized to "access to income," because "sex" isn't a fungible, transferrable commodity. There's only one way to provide someone with sex: Have sex with them.https://twitter.com/robinhanson/status/989535565895864320 …

Hey,
@robinhanson, if a dude is convinced that he should be "pulling 5s and 6s" and is shooting down "3s and 4s", does that mean he's disqualified? Or partially qualified? Are we going to means test this somehow? -
If a guy is saying he "would never date a Stacy" or "wouldn't stick [his penis] inside a 'roastie'" (a, uh, let's go with "term of art" for a woman who has noticeable external labia), are theystill entitled to compensation, sexual or otherwise, for their so-called lack of access?
-
Can’t wait for the PUA community to take over as case examiners for Incel sexual compensation claims
-
Will they call it Incel Court and televise the trials?

PUA-eye for the the Incel-guy

Also, this kind of reasoning ignores the fact that Incels have nothing but contempt for sex workers. If they were willing to use the services of a sex worker, their forums would be used to plan bus trips to Vegas, not to talk about violently punishing women for refusing them.
-
I was reminded, when I mentioned something like this in a different tweet that incels are the kind of men who kill sex workers. I know you mean if they were normal enough, but they will never be normal enough.
-
I’m not sure what you are trying to say. My point is that what Incels want really isn’t about sex, because if it were there are ways they could get it, including from sex workers.
-
I think you're agreeing with each other.
-
The last sentence makes me uncertain.
-
I don’t want incels anywhere near sex workers because they tend to have a peculiar violent pathology which makes me conclude that there are likely to harm sex workers.
-
Agreed. Fortunately, Incels don’t want to be anywhere near sex workers either. I actually had an argument earlier with someone who was like “If we legalized sex work, sex workers could hire security and then it would be safe for them to service Incels.”

Seems to me most self-described "incels" don't really want or lack access to sex - they want power & control over women. Many refuse to pay for sex even when they can afford it (because that doesn't allow them to imagine themselves as grand seducers).
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

They’ve always got their hands
-
Yeah, I've been thinking if you have access to your own genitals, you probably have access to sex. No transactions necessary!
-
It’s not really about sex though. It’s about power and control.
-
Yeah, I got that.
