I have some really exciting news to share: WE WON! 🎉 While the Board of Elections is still finishing its final tabulations, our campaign has crossed the 50 percent threshold for victory. This is such a meaningful day for the movement we’ve been building. [THREAD 🧵]

The reports out of Rikers right now are just so, so terrible. From our clients, from their families, from defense teams, from clinical staff, from jail staff. I don't have anything to say that others haven't already said. We just cannot do these things to people. Decarcerate now.

Our NLRB hearings start today. Today, the company will argue that hundreds of our colleagues don’t have shared interests and don't belong in our union. We know that working collaboratively is critical to the company’s success and that we all deserve a seat at the table.
