    Demonstrators are occupying the entrance to CoreCivic, a Nashville-based private prison operator that contracts with ICE. They've shut down multiple entrances, set up tents & replaced CCA/Tennessee flag with "No borders." Employees are just starting to arrive.

    This is 18-year-old dreamer Sergio Salazar Gonzales. On Friday, tells us Sergio was apprehended in San Antonio by ICE agents. We’ve been told he’s at the Web Detention Center in Laredo. Tonight, his father has a desperate plea to get him back home.

    Let’s talk about the parents deemed ‘ineligible’ for reunification with their kids. DHS is excluding parents with prior contact with law enforcement, even if they were never arrested or convicted. They also exclude parents with very old convictions or juvenile adjudications

    Important update on situation for separated dads who were transferred to Port Isabel supposedly to be reunited with their kids

    Port Isabel immigrant prison is utter chaos right now. Separated dads were taken there in the middle of the night a week ago, processed as released, & are still held w/ no access to phone, commissary, or even a change of clothes, let alone information about their children.

    Port Isabel immigrant prison is utter chaos right now. Separated dads were taken there in the middle of the night a week ago, processed as released, & are still held w/ no access to phone, commissary, or even a change of clothes, let alone information about their children.

    the young Honduran man who was diagnosed w Leukemia and came during the transitioned this morning according to this tweet. His name was Maicol and he dared to dream and struggle towards possibility for him and his family.

    update: many thanks to all who donated and kept Maicol in their thoughts as he returned to Honduras to be with family. Sadly, Maicol left this world early this morning. The caravanerxs will miss him dearly. He brought joy to many. The funds raised have been sent to his mother.
