I wanted to share our experiences since returning to SF this weekend after leaving to SIP in a different state on March 16th. A thread: 0/9
If @sfbos and the Mayor had been doing their jobs properly over the past several years, we wouldn't have had such a homeless spike and rampant addiction issues. They've had no plan. They've enabled people in crisis to suffer via inaction. It's been heartbreaking to witness.

When I had a plan to give them Frustrated, the BOS took my meetings, listened, and followed up. And a proper nod to the mayor’s office, when they found out I was an essential worker, I went from Navigation Center to SRO in 24 hours. Covid-19 opened doors to do something.

Unfortunately, even after chiming in at the meeting with a syrupy 5 minute greeting, she and her advisers decided not to adopt the law mandating putting 8,000 of our city’s unhoused in hotel rooms. Now that it passed absent her signature she is refusing to uphold the law.
