Yes, Joey, we said that here in America too on Nov 9th, 2016, when Hillary Clinton recv’d 3+mil more Popular Votes than Dotard, yet, thanks to all the internat’l interfernce, ie changing 80,000 votes, the antiquated Electoral College declared Dotard President. It’s horrible...

All we hear/read here in America is how hated and laughed at Trump is in Europe. Im sorry, but i just dont believe thats completely true. Hes trying to stop the Soros establishment from taking over in the US.

Let them laugh. They're the ones spiraling down the drain.

Many in Europe think Trump is a hero. I am one of them.

Of course, in that case it would also be selecting the candidate who received the majority of votes cast ... somewhat bolstering the "democracy" argument. Yes, the situation in Italy is considerably more ambiguous.
-
Except "majority of votes" isn't how the election is decided. There is no "democracy" argument. The United States is a constitutional republic with elements of a democracy. You don't get to decide after the fact which rules and conditions allow your candidate to win.
-
Also no campaign directed it's efforts to winning the " majority of votes" . They concentrated their efforts on winning the Electoral College. The results would not be the same if they ran campaigns to win the popular vote. HRC tried to win the Electoral College and failed.
-
Yes, the mayority of voters in each state decides who the President should be. Smaller and less populated states cannot be ruled by the fewer more populated areas. Our founders were smart!

I look forward to an explanation of why North Dakota and South Dakota should be 2 separate states, and California should be a single state. Note that culturally, economically, politically, ethnically, California is much more internally diverse than the combined Dakotas.
