I have a different opinion, all that anti-cheat should do is ensure the integrity of the game, not the kernel. Just force to enable all windows security features, which guarantee kernel integrity itself, and work is done.
But it doesn't guarantee anything, every kernel mode bypasses stuff like DSE using vulnerable drivers or other methods. And you most definitely do not need to compromise the integrity of the game to make cheats, so just ensuring the integrity of the game 1/2

means absolutely nothing. Game hackers can send input from outside of the game, they can render visuals out of the game and they can read the memory from out of the game. And this was 15 years ago.
