pretty cool research. i have done similar research and presented privately and at this year's CCCamp on the topic earlier this year, and i can confirm some of the results.

despite the research being cool, it is by no means "a new attack vector for homograph attacks". lots of prior art in email spoofing with homographs exist, even nearly 20 years ago by some Australian university researchers. unfortunately there was no proper citation to past work.
