Like if there’s anything these guys hate more than women in general, it’s sex workers in particular. Incels are the crystallization of entitlement, they believe they have the right to have sex with the very specific women they want (virgins, 14-20ish, “8”+) >https://twitter.com/girly_juice/status/988847884522082304 …

when and how they, the incels want, at no cost or effort to themselves. They think it’s their fundamental right by existing. The idea that women get a choice in how and when and who they, the women, have sex with is antithetical to incels and their ilk. >

(And their ilk is very board indeed -incels are just the sharpest manifestation of a fundamental patriarchial narrative, distilled to virulent toxicity and stripped of anything that may counter or restrain it.) >

Ahem: To men whose entire defining identity is “I don’t get to have sex because women dare to think they are the ones who choose and they always choose wrong” - sex workers are, to them, the commercialization of the Great Injustice they labor under.

Not only are these women having agency and picking and choosing who they have sex with on their terms, *they then charge the guys hundreds of dollars*. Sex workers, to incels, are the ultimate personification of all that is wrong with the world.

Sex worker stigma at large in general is already based on this “agency plus economic power” (even if its power at just the micro level). Incelery, as a distillation of toxic masculinity and entitlement in general, pumps that stigma up to crushing levels.

So saying “they should just see a sex worker” is betraying a stark lack of understanding about the issues at play here. 1. They wouldn’t, cause to them that’d like be the ultimate self-cucking or something. It would not represent release for them, but complete defeat. >

2. Even if they were to do so, that’s placing a sex worker in direct, intimate contact with someone that loathes her with a supernova passion. That’s saying that any harm that may come to her is an acceptable price to pay to prevent future harm to other, non-sex working women. >

And that willingness to toss sex workers under the incel bus is based on accepting the palatable part of the incel narrative “Oh these are just regular guys frustrated due to a lack of dating success.” >

But here’s the rub: *all kinds* of people date and get laid *all the time*. Incels aren’t complaining about a lack of sex, but a lack of sex *under arcanely specific conditions.* >

Know the trope of the nerd guy who has a crush on the model-hot high status woman and bemoans his aloneness while ignoring his nerd woman friend that’s madly in love with him? Incels started there and sailed right on to “institutional necrophilia.” ~fin~
