The ppl defending Biden on grounds that Manchin & Sinema are immovable are missing the point. The leaders of the Dem party are still caught between suppression of the movement left, and strategic ambivalence. But you can't beat a mobilized right without a mobilized left.

Bernie's version of a left-movement alliance might have been weak and inadequate. But at least he gets the basic idea: unless you have some kind of strategy to go all out on movement mobilizing, you're only winning elections to get punched, then knocked down on national TV.
