After refusing to sign the Feb. 27 Agreement & before refusing again to sign it w/ the Mar. 18 Annex, Serbia's President declined my generous offer of self-management for 🇽🇰Serbs, in an association that I'd draft & propose. Is he Dr No or Mr Nyet? Well, we know he’s not a doctor.
Yesterday, I signed the decision to fully lift the 100% tariff on imports from Serbia and BiH and to implement reciprocity measures with Serbia.
This was our promise in elections; part of our coalition agreement & now part of the government program.
Reciprocity, because equality!
Today we held true to the promise of Oct. 6 elections and delivered the government that citizens voted for. I am humbled to serve the people as their Prime Minister.

The President and PM of Serbia have also threatened military aggression, calling for the Serbian army to return to our territory. We do not seek conflict, but dialogue and peace. But let me be clear: the Republic of Kosova will defend itself — forcefully and decisively.

Last night, in cooperation w/ 🇽🇰 Intelligence Agency, our Police prevented a terrorist attack. 100m from Zveçan's municipal bldg, KP stopped a Serbian state–owned car loaded w/ military-grade arms—also produced in Serbia. The images show the potential scale of the averted attack.
#Kosova was never an obstacle to the dialogue & this was proven with the removal of the 100% tariff.
Reciprocity means equality. Denying it means denying our declaration of independence as a sovereign state which no leader in Kosova has the right to do.

Today the government of #Kosova lifted the 100% tariff on raw materials on Serbia & BiH.
By April 1, the remaining tariffs will be lifted and reciprocity will be applied on all matters.
Reciprocity is a guiding principle among countries & Kosova is a sovereign country!
Three Kosova Police officers were abducted today by Serbian Armed Forces within Kosova's borders. Both the incursion of the forces & the abduction are open acts of int'l aggression. We call for the officers' immediate release, and for the int'l community to denounce these acts.
On 27 April 1999, 376 #Albanians were killed, massacred & kidnapped in Mejë. To this day, 1641 persons remain disappeared with no bodies to bury, no funerals, no tombstone to remember, except endless pain and agony.

Serbia's President vowed last night to oppose Kosova's membership in the UN. This would constitute a clear breach of Art. 4 of the EU proposal. Normalization of relations is possible only if both parties negotiate in good faith. Serbia has apparently decided not to do so.
We confirm that the 3 kidnapped police officers have been released. Even though we are joyous that they get to return to their families, this abduction consists of a serious human rights violation & must be reprimanded. The Serbian aggression must be held accountable.
In 1990 fans of Serbian football club Crvena Zvezda, led by ICTY-indicted Serbian mobster Arkan, rioted against Croatia. For some, this was a spark of the wars that ensued. Yesterday Crvena Zvezda called for the Serbian army to return to 🇽🇰. The calls to violence are incessant.

Another journalist was brutally attacked while covering the developments in the north of 🇽🇰 today by masked men. The physical attacks on those reporting from the ground are absolutely unacceptable and must be condemned by all parties who are otherwise vocal on the situation.
Our government just decided to host 20 journalists from 🇺🇦 in 🇽🇰. They were forced to leave their homeland by Russian invasion. In support and solidarity with Ukraine & its people, in cooperation with & #ECPMF, we will enable them to work remotley.
