It doesn’t matter whether you are rich or poor, young or old, woman or man, it doesn’t matter whether you come from urban or rural areas, today we are equal and people should use this opportunity which is unique in its character and historical in its weight.

They will decide about new legislators and a new government, that will lead our country out of crisis and in the direction of development, justice, democracy and progress.  The political system is open equally for all of us and each of us.

Today we end the electoral campaign with a massive gathering at #Prishtina Scanderbeg Square at 8pm. Together, we traveled thousands of miles and heard thousands of voices and on this historic Sunday, October 6, citizens will elect a new government for a new beginning. 126

Isolated and unemployed, our young people have defied odds against them & pushed for the impossible. It is time to invest in them. For young women & men we will create an 80 million euro fund in the first term to help at least 24.000 young entrepreneurs test their business ideas.

By taxing and stealing them at the border & making it harder for them to vote. But now time has come to treat them with respect they deserve by giving them the opportunity to invest in the country they love without paying a bribe & right to vote at the consulates where they live.

Our #Diaspora is our national treasure. Forced to leave their homes from persecution & poverty, they remain outside our borders but inside our nation and our hearts. They financed us during wartime & during peace time. But our governments have treated them with disrespect.

Our modernised army with developed capabilities & hardware will reinforce peace and stability and our #NATO membership will put an end to the long-held ambitions & plans of countries which threaten both our security & our democracy.

#Kosova cannot stand idly by while neighbors invest billions in military hardware. Together with our allies we must develop our capabilities to stand on our own. We will invest 400 million euros in our army for the next 4 years and pursue #NATO membership to secure peace.

Let's rebuild #Kosova A and build new capacities for Kosova B3 and B4 with modern technology. Let's put into action the interconnection line with #Albania and unify our energy system. Finally, let's stop talking how rich our resources are and let's use them to grow our economy.

We need sustainable #energy to power our businesses, our industry and our economic growth. We will use our abundant resources of lignite in a responsible way because it is possible to both preserve & protect the environment and produce clean energy.

Today is the #InternationalDayOfPeace. Belonging to a region that was plunged into wars 20 years ago, we never take peace for granted. We are mindful that peace is hard-work and compromise, but it is only lasting when it is built on principles of justice and equality.

We cannot have a thriving economy while most of our businesses remain small and cannot expand. They need easy access to finance, and we will respond to that by establishing a new Development Bank to provide loans with soft terms - low interest rates and long grace periods.

#TheDayHasCome to create the Sovereign Fund which will own and manage all SOEs under the Privatisation Agency and POEs under exec. branch. The SF will carry out investments in strategic economic sectors, which in return will create jobs and guarantee sustainable development.
