    Not very many people can afford what you call a “small levy” of OTTs tax to access social media which they could have used to grow SMEs in the country. Also, thanks for your time . Have a great evening!

    .: I don't see anything good coming out of this tax. A majority of the 10m plus people that they are targeting rely on the small bundles of UGX500 - 1000. Taking 200 off them will hit them hard and they will opt out of using social media

    Whether you want or not. A direct taxation on social media and the way it's being implemented is a political card to curtail and reduce its influence on public debate. Anyone can see this. Internet is taxed in every country; but not in this clandestine manner.

    Rwanda. Scoff at them for producing cars that most of it's citizens can't afford (as if you don't know what the word export means). But think about this: They said they'd kick off production in June AND it happened! As planned. Meditate on that.
