We hope that the damage is minimal, and that all governments take this as a wake-up call about the need to move very quickly to build new pipelines to bring Alberta resources to global markets. 9/9

It is events like this that hammer home the importance of pipeline construction, and the need for the federal government to take meaningful, concrete action to ensure that pipelines are not being stalled or blocked. 7/9

A major spill from a train derailment in one of Alberta's breathtaking national parks would be tragedy. 6/9

Like many other groups, ACW has been calling for new pipeline construction, and for pipelines like the Trans Mountain pipeline expansion to be declared in the national interest precisely because pipelines are by far the safest way to transport oil. 5/9

The size of the derailment will require CN or CP to replace 1.6 kilometres of track, causing a major delay on their main line. 4/9

Alberta's national parks deserve to be protected - The best way to do this would be using pipelines to transport our oil. Spills can be prevented!

I am calling upon Premier & PM to jointly declare in Canada's National Interest before we face a disastrous train crude oil derailment going thru 1 of our pristinr National Parks. A spill in either Jasper or Banff could halt AB O&G cold!

2018 didn’t see a lot of new restaurants. More closures it seemed (thank-you to political powers at every level). This list of new is great. Bias showing - but the complete rebuild / update of ⁦⁩ is worth a mention.

Stupid stupid tweet. There are no climate deniers. We all know the climate is changing. The question many ask - is where this climate evolution / change model? How is it tested and proven? Explain why 2 degrees in magic. Not 1.7893? And then response? China don’t care! Why?

Surely these brave Canadians deserve recognition for serving 🇨🇦🇬🇧 during the war (before it’s too late for Hank Wong) per this piece. Let’s confirm they “exist” in a non-partisan way . What say you Twitter?
