We lost contact to the people in distress at 03:50. They were in panic & their boat was in precarious conditions. We don’t know what happened afterwards & if they arrived to #Lampedusa. We believe that the group of people we were in contact with was rescued to #Lampedusa 12 hours after our first alert to authorities. We hope they made it, but today too many others lost their lives due to this lethal border regime. #Europe, stop killing people at your borders!
