I think firms need to switch to build/buying services - not stand-alone products - & combine in an integrated digital workplace / platform

Better training? Employees need to have an understanding of the tools that they are using. "Seamless integration" can be problematic in its own sense if it enables disinterest in that.

I 100% agree workplace tool sets are almost always wide and varied - but we seem to navigate the wide and varied tools we use outside of work quite easily. If you exclude the issue of clunky workplace legacy systems, what do you think is the key diff?

I do not agree that we navigate our personal tools well. Most people have multiple email accounts, several calendars, use multiple file sharing services, and have different connections and networks spread out across a variety of social networks.
