Privileged to be part of this great process. The rolling out work and development of community of practitioners esp. in the South should start now and with all-out effort and investment.
Trying to #fundraise for #sudan ain’t easy 😡😡😡 This was to raise money for a US-based association of Sudanese doctors, who support medical aid on the ground. #KeepEyesOnSudan
I will keep trying to find ways, no thanks to
Excellent coming together of initiatives on policy coherence here now in India 🙏🏼 How we then share this experience across and with other countries is the next challenge. So much to explore, and so exciting! Bravo! #gamechanging#NPSinitiative#newthinking#policytransformations

One of Africa’s largest capital cities, a short hop from the Med, is shredded by warfare, the civilian population in dire straits. Yet already Mark Zuckerberg’s Judo & Prince Louis’s digger are more important front page news. This is racism on a colossal scale. #KeepEyesOnSudan

After 3 weeks of the "absurd" generals war, the majority of the people of Khartoum did not flee, and some of them returned to work under the hail of bullets and the Buzz of warplanes .

Literally the worst nightmare. An embassy holds on to your passport, your country enters crisis, the embassy evacuates its staff, renders you officially stateless, and has the guts to tell you to apply for a new passport from the same country they’ve just run away from.
Dear Wasila, we deeply regret the current situation you're in. We were forced to close the embassy and evacuate our staff. Unfortunately, this means we can't get to your passport. We advise to apply for a new passport with your local authorities.
I'm writing today about the situation for the Sudanese staff of European embassies in Khartoum, & what assistance they've been offered since fighting broke out, in case anyone has info to share. My dms are open.
The Government has a moral obligation to ensure that our NHS doctors - who are not British passport holders - are not be left behind in life-threatening conditions in Sudan.

Today we've written to the Foreign Secretary again, urging him to take swift action during the ceasefire to ensure all NHS doctors, & their families, including those on UK visas are evacuated.
It is unacceptable for any NHS doctor to be left behind.
