    The situation at Tendercare home is so dire for my grandparents. They are complaining that they are thirsty but ade unable to communicate due to covid. I have made these cardboard signs for them to notify PSWs and nurses to provide hot water! HELP!

    Protesting at Tendercare in against the appalling handling of COVID outbreaks in Scarborough's long-term care homes. 43 residents have died here, meanwhile for-profit LTC shareholders across the province are getting payouts. Totally unacceptable.

    My grandma and grandpa are at the Tendercare Living Centre. 128 out of 193 of the residents are infected. 41 are already dead. Majority of staff are infected. There's not enough staff and residents are being neglected of food and water. , we need help!

    I usually try to refrain from showing emotion on live 📺 but with Christmas & the knowledge that so many are predictably suffering right now in LTC and.....yeah 😕⤵️ (And thank you SO much to for spending your day at Tendercare trying to help. You’re an angel 🙏).

    I have both grandparents at Tendercare and we called my grandfather directly; he is saying there is absolutely no assistance in feeding the elderly! My grandma is being fed by my Grandfather and they are both 93! Elders are not dying from covid but by neglect and malnourishment!!
