    How is it possible that, 30 years after the ADA, 3/4 of NYC subway stations have no elevator? We urgently need a federal jobs program to save the climate & revive the economy. And it should include serious money for accessibility.

    Today’s rally in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, highlighted both the national attacks & the local. The post office here is being pushed out by the high-end retail development Industry City, which also wants a rezoning for further gentrification.

    . Our absentee ballots finally arrived in today’s mail! We marked them and got them back over to the post office just in time for the Election Day postmark. But surely many people who wanted to vote weren’t able to.
