It’s a multi-billion dollar industry. The government does not want to be the one who kills that. Every gun sale is a minimum 140 dollars. I love my weapons. However I believe a kid should not own a gun till after 21. Just like no parent will buy whisky for a ten year old.
Last week, a four year old girl was shot.
Today, two more dead.
In the same place.
The gun violence issue in our country is solvable, it just appears our government doesn’t care enough to stop it.

Reported today 2 children were kidnapped a brother & sister. Girl had a cell and called 911. She was in a car close to the Mexican Border and the children were saved. Let us be outraged by Human Traficking of children. These children have had their voices silenced for too long

Actually, we need both. The current state of care for people with psychological troubles is horrendous. Our prisons arguably being the most common care provider. (You wind up in jail, instead of proper care) Only a tiny fraction of gun crime involves the psychologically unwell.
