Regardless of where he is sitting now, Petraeus knows more than most criticizing him. He was more involved directly in the war than those pretending to know things rightly.
Sitting in his secure office thousands of miles away, Petraeus opines that status quo, the meaningless bloodshed, must continue in Afghanistan because he’s no better ideas for peace.
