    Just a Friday reminder that on top of ~everything~ happening with abortion rights, abortion clinics/staff still routinely face harassment and threats of violence. There was an arson at an Ohio clinic like a month ago that hardly anyone seemed to notice.

    J.Kavanaugh's questions suggested he thinks SCOTUS can invalidate Roe in the same way they invalidated prior precedent to declare segregation and anti-sodomy laws unconstitutional. But in prior cases they were moving from no constitutional rights to finding constitutional rights.

    Despite enacting the country's most restrictive anti-abortion law, SB8, Texas also passed SB4. This law restricts the usage of medication abortion past 7 weeks with high penalties and possible jail time. (FDA standards are 10 wks) It goes into effect today, December 2nd.

    BREAKING El Salvador will be forced to reform laws criminalizing abortion & repro health. Today the Inter-American Court of Human Rights found that El Sal’s total abortion ban caused the death of Manuela, who was imprisoned after being accused of having an illegal abortion.

    I don’t just want a world where abortion care is legal. I want a world where I’m not harassed when I got my abortion. Where I’m not shamed. Where I’m not considered lucky to be able to get one. Upholding Roe v. Wade is the floor. We need abortion & reproductive health justice.

    This morning we joined protests at the where a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade is being considered. Safe and accessible abortion is a human right. We join together with everyone fighting to ensure it is protected.
