I love Rita Moreno. Yes, Lin-Manuel has done whole lot. It doesn’t mean he couldn’t do better with representation for Afro Latinos. Why does the fair skinned always say wait your turn to darker skinned people?

He was on the creative team, but casting decisions seemed to fall on the director & the casting director for lead roles. Not sure he's the person to criticize.

He was one of the producers and co-creator. Lin-Manuel has more power than he did when it was first co-opted and even then he was a producer. The studios wanted a known Latinx to star in it and he declined to do it on those terms.
