    JOMO pro tip that I ripped off from : whenever you say no to something, make a calendar notification for yourself: "Don't go to to give talk", "Don't review for $CONFERENCE", or whatever it is. You'll eventually get the notification and feel relieved and joyful.

    I'm cool with conferences being aware that they need to diversify their speaker lineups & taking deliberate action to achieve that. That said, the language used in the invitation is important. "We want you to speak bc it's important to represent dope women doing dope shit." = 💯
