I’m conflicted on final fantasy VII remake. I played the hell out of that game the first time around and I loved it. I love the visual update. I will likely spend money to get it but if I’m being honest with myself I’m unsure I can put in the time to finish it.
I remember ritualisticly placing each cd into my PlayStation and being totally fine with it. I now think about all those disks and how much content that was. That was a lot then. The amount of data in the new one will be substantial. All of this is intimidating
I’m happy it’s happening and that people who loved the original are likely creating it so there’s probably genuine passion there. I want to support that. I’m just older and time isn’t the same.
