Watching people lashing out about ghost not getting pet by Jon in #GOT is fascinating. People underestimate the time and cost of anything cgi. For a show that has had some massive cgi heavy episodes the choice is understandable. That or the fans are just reacting for the memes.

Wait...get a large husky, shoot it from far away and obscure it, use some scaling camera tricks (a la lord of the rings) maybe? No, no, has to be CGI, impossible, can't be done!

Of course it could be done. My point is that the choice is understandable. Budget of time and money doesn’t doesn’t work the way you’re projecting it does.

And really, my issue doesn't come from their decision: it comes from their decision to lie about it. Don't tell me "it's more dramatic this way". Say you were cheap, or you ran out of time, because you did. I don't need politicians representing my escapism.

So because you share a different opinion than them they lied about their opinion and choice? Am I missing something?
