Watching people lashing out about ghost not getting pet by Jon in #GOT is fascinating. People underestimate the time and cost of anything cgi. For a show that has had some massive cgi heavy episodes the choice is understandable. That or the fans are just reacting for the memes.

There are some "opinions" from a corporate mouthpiece, such as "we decided to pan this shot because we felt it was more dramatic", which don't hold up to any kind of scrutiny. I know it's cool to be Mr. Positivity, but you have to have some critical bone in your body.

And yes, they lied, not only about the choice, but about their own opinion. The opinion was "we're out of time, fuck it". You know it, I know it, so stop pretending?

(And I know you know it, because that's what your original tweet was about! You don't get to switch to "they preferred this. dramatically, in their opinion" after saying you applaud their savvy budgeting-decision.)

It can be both bud. Budget of time and money always informs creative decisions. That’s the reality. I understand this scene didn’t meet up with your expectations and that sucks. Here’s a cat.pic.twitter.com/SdUCIRFFo5

When something doesn't live up to your expectations, did you know it's actually ok to vocalize that? That these companies don't need your defense aid?
