so people were saved in different ways? and circumcision was a requirement?
Esau was circumcised and not saved
Noah was not circumcised and saved
I don't think that is a safe assumption but rather wild speculation

At the end of the day ever single person saved was saved through Jesus Christ, including all of the OT heroes. But Christ can require of different people different things, such as circumcision post Moses, baptism post Resurrection. None of these guarantee salvation
