I used 's for the landing page, & for emails and for the domain. Total cost: $8.88. Took inspiration from as the whole thing started as a crowdsourced spreadsheet.

Beware of actions that feel like progress but actually aren't, eg. - Making to-do lists with tons of filler items ("Check to-do list") - Doing tutorials but never using what you learn to actually make stuff - Tweeting productivity pro tips instead of being productive wait what

In my 20s I would code until 5am. In my 30s I wake up at 5am to code.

PS: You don't have to be "older" to do these things Realizing your time in this simulation is limited – something that inevitably comes with age – has a way of forcing you to optimize your use of it, but you can have that realization at any age (pro tip: earlier the better :)

Interesting changes since I've gotten older (though not "old" ... yet): - All nighters 👉 Early mornings - 12-hour marathons randomly hacking on stuff 👉 3-hour sprints focused on specific tasks - Half-assing a bunch of projects 👉 Whole-assing just a few Kinda digging it tbh

Deleting twitter from my phone and only checking it a few times a day on desktop (just to reply to stuff, like an inbox) has been one of my most successful lifehacks to date Social media, like any other relationship, works best with boundaries, and I can safely say this one = 👍

BTW I'm not one of those "everyone must code" types but I do believe more people a) are *capable* of it, and b) might even enjoy it! – if only they were made aware the tools/knowledge are well within their reach and the bar to entry is WAY lower (in a good way) than they think

Nothing fulfills you like constantly creating Nothing hollows you out like constantly consuming I've said variations of this before but having just experienced both extremes in the last week, I've never been more convinced of its truth so protip: GO MAKE THINGS thx

Imagine if everyone with a computer realized they already have a dev environment (browser + text editor) and all the knowledge in the world to do something with it (www)

Loving for building my upcoming course , but one big thing I'm missing is a way to have students fill out assignments. So I built my own assignment "engine" with 's that will automatically process each assignment with

3 YEARS AGO (!!!) I shipped Carrd's alpha and emailed some friends to give it a go - Name wasn't final b/c I hadn't secured the .com so it went by a codename - No drag & drop (hadn't figured this out yet) - 3 elements (vs. 16 today) - 31,069 lines of code (vs. 131,972 today)

I launched my first ever project on 😻 I made this using already existing platforms like 's Carrd, Airtable. It's a curated job board where I list community management related jobs like Community Manager, Developer Evangelist, etc.
