Russia, while a capitalist country, has a bourgeois nationalist government that seeks to maintain independence and resist U.S. imperialism's attempts to dominate and plunder the country.
As such we see state media like RT willing to work with and provide opportunities for leftists, progressives and socialists — something we never see on Western state broadcasters like BBC or CBC, or US corporate media outlets.

This is also why we see that Russia, while not perfect, is able to work constructively with nations resisting imperialism, including socialist countries.
