idk about you but these days a movie/tv franchise saying "it's all connected!!!" feels more to me like a threat than a promise

As a comics fan, I used to go nuts for crossovers. These days, I'm more apt to drop a comic or show if it frequently requires to read or watch lots of other things to fully appreciate the story.

Movies have become TV shows (MCU) and everyone expects TV to act like Movies (serialized continuous stories, no stand-alone episodes). And frankly, it SUCKS!
