and the second episode has me thinking about how where I work could provide gas cards to trans folks receiving gender affirming care since southern/rural queers travel far and have limited finances.

I wrote a bunch of stories I'm proud of this year, which wasn't always guaranteed. The first quarter of the year it seemed like the paper I work for could've shuttered. I'm thankful we survived that struggle, so I could publish pieces like this:
