The taxi lobby is vociferous and can be vicious. Councils and tfl etc are scared of them. But it can't go on.

How can 5000 taxis on the road at any time cause that, when you have more than 15000 buses on the road at any time. The figures are politically correct and don't add up. And don't say their are 19000 taxis because of different 24 hour shifts

They are making them comply.... Unlike 50,000 minicabs that are still running on diesel. Or is it your plan to charge taxidrivers money which will impede the progress of investing in a zero emission vehicle? At least know what you’re talking about.
