Our team has been hard at work adding incredible features to the Arbitrum stack. Lots more to share on this soon. And I'll end with a prediction: you'll be able to write Rust contracts alongside Solidity on Arbitrum before we see a true, full-featured production zkEVM.

FWIW I asked him many questions but the most interesting response by far was when I asked him why he didn't use autopilot on his Tesla. He said he didn't trust AI enough (generally, not just on the Tesla). So there you have it folks... debate settled.

I wonder if there is a case study on how decentralized compute could help alleviate these costs without compromising on latency or other features cloud providers offer? cc

We spent $3,201,564.24 on cloud in 2022 at @37signals, mostly AWS. $907,837.83 on S3. $473,196.30 on RDS. $519,959.60 on OpenSearch. $123,852.30 on Elasticache. This is with long commits (S3 for 4 years!!), reserved instances, etc. Just obscene. Will publish full accounting soon.

The amount of startups in the Bay Area raising capital right now pinned to AI or "Generative AI" is off the charts, from seed stage to multibillion dollar valuations, from enterprise-focused to synthetic media. Exciting & noisy all at the same time.

I'm not saying I'm pivoting into focusing exclusively on AI, but if anyone should be doing it, it should be me...

web3 created many expectations that crypto-powered apps would replace all web2 companies/apps. (not true). it also inspired an immune response from smart web2 people, who otherwise might have been open minded to the technology

I’ve been playing Fantasy Football since 2007. For the first time in 15 years,“I” am in the finals. The difference? My daughter, who is hyper competitive like me, has been co-managing the team.

I've been noticing more and more people talk about . When that happens to a protocol its often a lot of shills and bots, but the arbitrum community seems to be all real - high quality conversation, shilling building, and no weird hype. It's a pleasure to see.
