Ok, I am trying to give a better answer to why I think that it‘s so problematic to say „I am fed up of white males who come and act as if they are the chosen one. I won‘t vote for Joe Biden if he becomes the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party.“ @sarahmei
I will argue slightly along the concept of positive and negative liberty (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Positive_liberty …).

There are many good reasons to be fed up with men who act like Joe Biden. And it is absolutely important to support more non-white, non-male politicians to run for office.

But at least for psychological reasons I believe that it is important not to argue from a perspective of negative liberty. I think that it is to destructive to argue that stopping white males means more freedom to others.

I‘d prefer to fight for positive liberty: for enabling those for whom it is historically and socio-structurally more difficult to have a voice, to gain power.

I believe that we shouldn‘t fight AGAINST a white, male president. We should fight FOR others. For our own sake and for the sake of society. We can‘t afford to exclude anyone given the great challenges of the near future.

(Or at least we should keep the excluded group as small as possible. It‘s reasonable to exclude aggressive white supremacists. But I don‘t understand how „not a white male again“ in terms of negative liberty could be helpful - except for getting rid of one‘s anger.)
