    Pell may have walked away from his conviction in court, but is forever sullied in the eyes of many. Justice may not have been fair to witness J, but know that Pell would never be able to dissociate himself as the filthiest of the filthy paedophiles.

    This is part of the statement of Witness J, the guy whose clear, consistent testimony put George in jail. I’ve never met J, but know people who have, and am told he is a remarkable man. He’d have to be.

    There's no more important book to understand our times than Albert Camus's The Plague, a novel about a virus that spreads uncontrollably from animals to humans and destroys local populations. Camus speaks to us now by correctly sizing up human nature.

    An indefinite suspension to Vasta’s judicial responsibilities will be the most responsible thing by the judiciary, given his recalcitrant behaviour in bullying

    Interestingly, Salvatore Vasta was also the judge in the controversial Peter Ridd JCU case last year, which got embroiled in culture wars etcetera.

    I want to give some perspective for people not from Australia. More Aussie land is currently burning than exists in the entire country of Belgium. The smoke is causing breathing problems in New Zealand, 2,000km away. Half a billion animals have been killed. Eight people are dead.
