If you're that uncomfortable with someone printing your fic out at home, genuinely you should probably not be posting fic publicly. Saving fic by either downloading it or printing it out is completely normal and it's honestly weird and controlling (and impossible) to police that.

Tbh I'd be HONORED if someone printed my fic???

It's like someone is keeping a part of you in their home! When you read online, after finishing most ppl close tab and forgot all about it after a while. But printing it!!! It makes the story a part of their home!!

I feel this way about printing other people's art out too. Unless someone's making high quality prints, I don't understand why so many artists get offended by it. It used to be common to have home-printed fanart in your binder or w/e, and I always thought that was lovely!

As long as you're not passing it off as your own, or trying to make money out of it, or selling copies, or altering it, then printing out that fanart or fanfic - what is so wrong there? Is storing it on USB morally superior and why?
