    I've been thinking about this constantly. Vaccines are already mandated! Vaccine mandates are nothing new! It is such a cognitive dissonance to have all the other vaccines enforced as normal with very little pushback.

    The school nurse called Friday to remind us that if we don’t submit proof our kid got his DT vaccine booster by Wednesday he can’t return to school and my wife hasn’t stopped laugh-crying since.

    This is smart. France is fortifying their economy by adding citizens while sending a signal of gratitude that also shapes culture. We should be doing the same thing. Immigrants built this country, and continue to sacrifice for it. We should welcome them fully into our society.

    France granted citizenship to 12,000 COVID frontline workers this week in a show of gratitude for their efforts and sacrifices.

    This is a must. Not just to address Amazon, which profited immensely over the pandemic, but for fairness in tax policy generally. And some big corporations evading taxes are also controlling politicians and government policy in other ways, especially regulatory policy.

    Corporations are supposed to pay a 21% tax rate. But over the last three years, Amazon wriggled its way into so many exceptions that they only paid 4.3% of their $45 billion in profits. My Real Corporate Profits Tax Act would bypass those loopholes and make them pay a fair share.
