@johnvoorhees No buttons. I was told the Today view is for information presentation only, essentially.

@agiletortoise @johnvoorhees Wow. Basically all widgets I use are interactive. Sadly, I think Apple is disconnected here.

@kwsanders @agiletortoise I know. Nothing is clear right now. iOS buttons executing code in a source app seem a no-no but could be broader.

@johnvoorhees @agiletortoise I know that was an OS X example, but they are moving to consistent user interface aspects across devices.

@kwsanders There are plenty of iOS examples too. Re stocks widget rows act as buttons to open the stocks app.
