Seems to bigger than the 1999 earthquake that struck Izmit (pretty close to Istanbul) killing 18,000 people. Today's quake took place around 4 am local time, catching everyone in their sleep. People now out on the streets under the rain or snow. Praying for everyone. #DEPREMOLDU

Berlin goes the the polls next Sunday to re-run the 2021 election and current polling has the CDU well ahead of the three current coalition parties (SPD, Greens and The Left)
