    We are supporting campaign to ensure that TV remains free for the over 75s. Paper petitions can be signed at One, Town Hall and County Hall. It's also online. Please support the campaign.

    I spent time recently reading hundreds of comments older people, families & friends sent us as part of and they show just how important this issue is to many. They also shed light on the lives of over-75s - we need to be more curious about this.

    With over 500,000 signatures on our petition to save free we've been inundated with people telling us why it's an important issue to them. From veterans to widowers to concerned family members - everyone has joined our campaign:

    While I was at the protest outside Broadcasting House earlier a employee came up to me & said he & his mates were on our side. He realised as do we that have been used as fall guys for this intended Government cut.
