It doesn't have to be either or, but I want to know that any strategy to address wealth inequality is giving justice to racial and sexual inequality, not just in the interest of the white liberal middle class.

Cause otherwise we're just, really, trying to "make America great again" for a different group of privelege folks.

Let’s not go around in circles. We’ve had this talk before and we both know are goals are the same but our priorities are very different. I respect you for your POV but hard disagree. Our minority status will be used as a bargaining chip by the wealthy unless we check them.

When women have control of their healthcare at no cost it will be easier to equalize their capacity for equality in other areas of life. It is a disservice to racial, sexual and gender minorities to advocate for them but not advocate for strong social safety net 1st.

Why isn't it possible to advocate for both at the same time?

Great point. No candidate is doing that. We gotta prioritize. I feel I’ve made a decently strong case for why Social Welfare should be first if we don’t have a candidate offering both wealth and gender/race equity. If that hasn’t changed your mind I understand. No aggression here

Yeah, I haven't actually dug deep into all candidates to see if I think they represent both the best. But I DO still worry about the base and even just the feelings Bernie could possibly bring over from 2016.

I appreciate your concern but have you seen his polling? I would do more research into the other announced candidates too. Harris’ record on race and incarceration is terrifying. Gillibrand is pro-woman but also has a TERRIFYING pro-gun history (former NRA “A” rating).

Dude, if HRC decided to run again, would you not roll your eyes because of the things you think she didn't do right in 2016? That's what I'm doing here on my own Twitter.

So...I should not engage you? I mean...yes obviously. I think the difference here is that of the announced candidates, Bernie has a set of ideas that sets himself apart. If Hillary announced she wouldn’t. She’d be just right of Gillibrand.

No, but you should probably not critique me being triggered when you're acting kind of triggered by me too, friend.
Let's just be triggered together, cool?

Did you miss the part where I was like "Everybody's triggered today, me included. But let's not retreat to the moral high ground like in 2016?"

Your "stating glass houses" at me for calling out butthurt fanboys about petty problems while being concerned by a fear of the continuation of the political hellscape wasn't done from a "moral high ground?"
