Any project that doesn't have an obvious path towards, or a detailed & feasible plan described for, long-term sustainability - isn't worth my attention "It's early, we will experiment now, figure it out later" is just doublespeak for "tokenholders will subsidize us forever"

I remember like 10 years ago it was a big conservative talking point that entrepreneurs create jobs. In hindsight, it seems hilarious that anyone would believe that - inefficient orgs create jobs, successful entrepreneurs destroy them

At the core of the carbon markets' credibility crisis is the issue of verification. Traditional MRV has a 'black-box' nature. Developing digital MRV solutions that are on-chain, transparent, and auditable will enable a higher level of verifiability, and thus trust in the system.

It is strange how western bureaucrats cape for liberal democratic values, then collaborate with the most authoritarian bigots in nation states, eg UAE, Saudi Arabia, etc everyone at the end of the day is a moral pragmatist and doesn’t believe their own bullshit I guess

The fantastic Greco-Roman remains of Empuries 120km north of Barcelona. It's well known that their wealth based partly on slave economy, but slavery also returned here in 1940s in form of Republican prisoners (pictured) forced to work in terrible conditions in archaeological digs
