The hallmark of democracy is the peaceful transfer of power. Tonight America is failing that test. In the end it will succeed but this is appalling.

A hallmark of democracy is a right to peaceful protest. We currently don't have that in the UK. Forget whatever is happening in the US, what is happening here is outrageous.
