    I think this’d be my feature request for the next version of macOS. Some sort of migration assistant that lets you copy settings from one Mac to another. Doing this by hand each time is a nightmare. Fairly easy to picture how this sort of system could work. Can’t be too hard.

    I told it to skip the update, now it’s stuck here. Why is there no time estimate? Why does it say it’s connected via Wi-Fi? The two machines are directly joined by a USB-C cable. I definitely don’t want it to copy a terabyte over Wi-Fi. That’d be dumb.

    I get that this stuff doesn’t always work, but I wish Apple wouldn’t push it front and centre if doesn’t work out of the box in the default scenario. Just... put it in a “beta” folder or something, I dunno. I love Apple but this is an un-Apple-y experience.

    Connected it to the new Mac. Says it needs an update before it’ll work. Click “Update” and you can an error saying it can’t update.

    …and then it breaks your iCloud. (I’ve never used Migration Assistant before. Does it work, or is it one of those legacy Mac things that you should never use? Appears like it’s just broken.)

    Wallpaper bleeding thru to dock icons 👌

    With some careful balancing of transparency I made a variant of my Sketch icon that lets your wallpaper bleed through and color the gem itself 💎🎨 Changes throughout the day when using Apple's Gradient wallpapers 😍 (Inspired by 's excellent work on the official icon)

    OK. I got it done. It took 40 minutes. The team on the phone are great and super-friendly. But gosh, the Apple Biz systems seem to undermine Apple staff as much as they undermine customers.
