Someone mistakenly thought I’d been a librarian and it’s the highest inadvertent compliment I can imagine.

Efforts to shrink the Postal Service payroll would likely affect racial and ethnic minorities, women and veterans more than others.

Tomorrow is the 35 year anniversary of the MOVE bombing, when the city of Philadelphia obliterated a block of houses in West Philly. My Nana lived 5 blocks away at the time. Growing up in the area I was shocked to learn how few people knew about the bombing, even as we got older

I appreciate self-sufficiency! But when I hear 'just because you have car insurance, doesn't mean you drive like an idiot' and I think, what about funding transport so they don't need to drive? what about designing safer streets so fewer people use their insurance?

Listened to today's Reset, on 'the preppers of Silicon Valley' - I'm feeling super frustrated that preparing doesn't seem to involve helping to fix systems. Esp. for people whose work is 'disruptive,' why not disrupt fossil fuel, or choose not to always push for 'max efficiency.'

What this week definitely needed was the sounds of an invasion. This seems like a much better way to honor the work people are doing than insuring they have the equipment they need or benefits or something. I'm glad I knew about it beforehand, at least.

I love the notion of graffiti in space, it reminds me of the graffiti in Hagia Sophia, which helped me think about the people who had been using the building people that whole time

I drew a calendar on the interior of Columbia during Apollo 11. I found it helpful to be able to keep track of days. Do you have any tips on how you are spending your time indoors? For more Apollo 11 graffiti, visit .

This was a pretty ambitious episode for quarantined production, but it was so worthwhile because it was an opportunity to talk about something this country did better than anyone else. Long live .

I just want to buy my food from somewhere that is paying employees well and doing the best they can to protect their health. It shouldn't be this hard.

I’m just one lonely person (who mails a lot of shit) but I think the USPS is basically the best thing abt America & everything else in this country should be more like it rather than less.

Post Office has always been able to shift and change as technology shifted and changed: pony express, airmail, banking by mail, postal savings accounts, stamps as war savings bonds, etc, etc, etc

Ravn's bankruptcy, right now, means that all 72 of its planes are grounded and its 115 destinations are seeing no flights from the company -- including more than 20 communities that lack any road access and where Ravn was the only scheduled passenger service.
