founders are very seldom financially motivated. usually the goal is to build massive companies that leave a mark. sounds corny, but it's true. money comes later, it's all about ambition also, secondaries are a thing 😌 i don't get why bootstrappers shit on founders so much tbh

Markets give clear signals. BAYER in 2023 trades 50% below its stock value since it bought Monsanto in 2018. Shareholders lost half of their investment value because BAYER wanted to control the world market of toxic glyphosate. How come CEO was not sacked for such poor decision?
